Mike McDonald is a Director and leader of Implementation Services at Avid Consulting Group, LLC and is located in Charlotte, NC. Mike has more than a decade of experience specializing in the healthcare industry, including service to integrated health systems, hospitals and large physician group practices. His primary focus area is to assess current processes and to implement both short and long-term solutions to improve the business operations of the client’s revenue cycle. Specifically, Mike has led numerous business office redesign and A/R reduction (cash acceleration) initiatives.
Prior to founding Avid, Mike was a Manager in the Revenue Cycle Consulting practice at Cipe Consulting and McGladrey, and a Senior Consultant at Huron Consulting Group.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Miami University in Ohio and is an active member in the Health Care Financial Management Association (HFMA).
